Town (miles from last resupply / Approximate days from last town) - what's available:
1. Jacobs Lake (30/4) - Some groceries, Possible showers, and PIE! Our initial pack will supply us until phantom ranch. Arrived 12/30/07
2. Phantom Ranch, Grand Canyon (62/8) - First of only two resupplies to mailed. Arrived 1/5/08
3. South Rim Village, Grand Canyon (~30/7) via Tonto and Grandview Trails with Jesse - Full Grocery store, Showers, Laundry and killer views! Arrived 1/13/08
4. Flagstaff (90/10) - Major resupply with Many Full Groceries, showers, restaurants, friends (with beds). Arrived 1/21/08
5. Mormon Lake (41/5) - Restaurant (Steak House, Yes!), some groceries, possible showers.
6. Pine (78/8) - Full Grocery - Skipped From Lake Mary to Pine 1/30 7. Roosevelt Lake (112/14) - Second of two mailed resupply. Mental half way point. This will be big resupply with new socks, underwear, and shirts. Hooya! - Hiked out Of Mazatzal Mountains to Rye, AZ concluding hike on 2/11/08
8. Superior (50/6) - Full Grocery
9. Oracle (90/10) - Grocery and Hippy Food Store
10. Benson (70/8) - Full Grocery and Wal-mart (eek!).
11. Patagonia (62/7) - Grocery
12. Mexico, The End (22/2) - nothing but illegal border crossers.
Google Earth Users:
I just found this today but have not tried it yet. If you have Google Earth you can go to www.simblissity.net/arizona-trail.shtml and download a file to view the Arizona Trail. If you don't have Google Earth you should check it out!
